Michael Sams Interiors was established in 1981 with a focus on residential and commercial design in the United States and the Islands of the Bahamas.  The firm was founded in Palm Beach where Sams worked closely with noted designer Jack Fhillips.  The two designers collaborated on many interior design projects including private homes, yachts, and planes.  Sams and Fhillips were also selected to participate several times in the venerable Red Cross Decorator Show House in Palm Beach.

Among Sams’ favorite residential interior design projects was the penthouse apartment of Art and Pat Modell (owner of the Baltimore Ravens), the Los Angeles home of Ludo Cremers (V.P. of International Marketing for Walt Disney and Touchtone Pictures), the Louisville, Kentucky home of the President of Brown & Williamson, and the Fisher Island penthouse home of the Stoll family (owners of Tommy Hilfiger International.)  For further reference, please see the photo gallery page.
